Mentha Spearmint Oil

Mentha Spearmint Oil, commonly referred to as Spearmint Oil, is an essential oil obtained by steam distillation from the flowering tops and leaves of the spearmint plant (Mentha spicata). It has a sweet, minty, herbaceous aroma and is milder than peppermint oil due to its low menthol content and high carvone content. Main uses include flavoring for chewing gum, toothpaste, and confectionery; aromatherapy and personal care products; and soothing digestive and respiratory formulations.
